A low immunity leaves us susceptible to illnesses often, whereas a strong immunity protects us against recurrent ailments. Frequent coughs, colds, stomach upsets, skin rashes, flu-like symptoms, body aches, watery eyes, and sneezing signal a weak immunity. The use of the natural immunomodulators enhances the body’s immunity for disease-free and healthy living. Turmeric, the age-old immunomodulator helps to boost immunity, restore internal balance, and to protect us from falling ill often.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE 2 lozenges daily serve as an immunity booster

Turmgel contains Turmeric, a natural immunomodulator whose antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties help prevent recurring bouts of coughs and colds.
Frequent Skin Rashes/Allergic Reactions An allergy is the response of the body’s immune system to a substance that it perceives as a threat. The most common allergic reactions are skin rashes, sneezing, watery eyes etc. Turmgel with its natural immunomodulatory properties, helps restore the internal balance of the immunity axis. Regular use of turmgel reduces the frequency and severity of allergic episodes.

Oral Hygiene

Oral Hygiene

Over 600 types of bacteria are present in the average mouth! As food particles breakdown in the mouth, some of these bacteria cause foul odours. At night, when the mouth is inactive and exposed to less oxygen, the odour gets worse, causing "morning breath".
While brushing helps remove food particles from the mouth, it does not suffice to prevent bad breath. Chances are that some food particles will still remain in hard to reach places, allowing germs to proliferate, and causing tooth decay, gum diseases, mouth ulcerations, and other inflammatory and infectious diseases of the oral cavity.
The natural antibacterial action of the Turmeric in Turmgel, reduces the bacterial load in the oral cavity. This results in the elimination of the bacteria responsible for bad breath, including those responsible for dental caries, gingivitis and periodontitis. The natural anti-inflammatory properties also reduce swelling and redness. Regular use of Turmgel prevents recurrence of dental problems.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE For dental caries, severe gingivitis and periodontitis: 4 lozenges a day, until remission; Maintenance dose 2 lozenges a day
For general oral hygiene and treatment of bad breath: 2 lozenges a day.

Why choose Turmgel

For a customer

Why should I have Turmgel?

Turmgel contains Curcumin, the principle constituent of Turmeric, that has been used traditionally and known for its medicinal properties. This purest form of bioactive Curcumin has been incorporated into Turmgel in an easy-to-absorb form.

Curcumin is a natural immunomodulatory, and helps to build immunity among other innumerable benefits! It effectively relieves joint pains in arthritis patients, provides relief from stomach ailments, heartburn, stomach pain, dyspepsia and hyper acidity, and even heals soft tissue ulcers in the stomach and mouth, as it is a natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.

Why is Turmeric so good for me?

Turmeric, scientifically known as ‘Curcuma longa’, belongs to ginger family and is native to India. It has traditionally been used to treat various diseases in Ayurveda. Turmeric predominantly contains Curcumin, Demethoxycurcumin, Bismethoxycurcumin and traces of volatile oils including Tumerone, Atlantone and Zingiberone. All these elements combined, give turmeric its medicinal properties, making it highly effective against infections, pains and even degenerative disorders.

What does Turmgel contain?

Turmgel is made from the purest form of unadulterated Turmeric extract, that contains Curcumin, a naturally occurring anti-inflammatory and antiseptic medicine and the other active ingredients.

How does Turmgel preserve the medicinal properties of Turmeric?

Turmgel is manufactured using state-of-the-art technology. It packs all the goodness of turmeric into an easy-to-consume, slow-dissolving lozenge. The active ingredients are directly absorbed from our buccal cavity and enter the bloodstream, preserving its innumerable medicinal properties. As the absorption from gut is bypassed, the medicinal properties of turmeric in Turmgel remain intact. Gut enzymes are known to deactivate Curcumin making it less effective.

What is the best way to consume Turmgel?

Place the Turmgel lozenge in the mouth, and suck slowly for best results. Turmgel lozenges contain a special formula that allows them to slowly dissolve in the mouth, releasing the medicine directly into the blood stream through the buccal cavity. The floor of our mouth – also known as the buccal cavity – contains soft tissue, and is rich in blood supply. This means that medicines absorbed here, directly enter the bloodstream in its intact bioactive form for instant action.

My Grandma always said that Turmeric was best consumed with milk, so will a lozenge be as effective?

Grandma wasn’t completely wrong. Turmeric is great for you, and has been used as a medicine for generations, but the only reason to mix it in milk was due it insolubility in water. The pinch of turmeric in milk in fact, dissolves in the fat component of milk, and therefore Turmeric is given with milk. However, when consumed orally, it passes through the digestive system, where the digestive juices and enzymes break down Curcumin and its other components – snatching away their effectiveness by almost 80%!

Turmgel is absorbed directly from the buccal cavity (i.e. the mouth) into the blood stream, thereby bypassing the gastrointestinal tract entirely. This allows for instant absorption, and quick action retaining 100% of the therapeutic properties of Turmeric.

What about Curcumin capsules instead of Turmgel?

Curcumin loses its medicinal properties as it passes through gut - the capsules need to be taken with water and pass through our stomach where the therapeutic benefits of Curcumin are lost. High doses of Curcumin capsules are needed, and are therefore available as 475 mg capsules. Turmgel in its lozenge form, allows absorption through the floor of our mouth or the buccal cavity allowing intact bioactive Curcumin to be available in the blood stream, for complete health benefits, at a 100 mg dose unlike other Curcumin formulations available in the market.

What are the side effects of Turmgel, especially if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Turmgel lozenges contain Curcumin, a naturally occurring plant extract, which is safe and has no known side effects. However, like all medicines, do not consume this product without consulting your doctor.

Would toddlers and children below 5 years benefit from Turmgel?

Medicines should be given to children with a doctor's prescription only. Although TURMGEL is safe, toddlers and children below 5 years are unable to hold the lozenge in their mouths. This could lead to a possible choking hazard. If the doctor recommends Turmgel to your toddler or under five-year-old to relieve him from throat inflammation and flu-like symptoms, cut the lozenge into small portions and train your child to hold it in his/her mouth. Never give an adult dose to a child, and do not exceed 2 lozenges per day for children below 5 years of age. Always give medicinal products to your child only under parental supervision.

Can I use Turmgel for treating bad breath?

Definitely! Turmgel preserves the natural antiseptic properties of Turmeric, that kills disease-causing germs present in the oral cavity, responsible for bad breath. Turmgel is flavoured with menthol, eucalyptus and natural aromatic oils, that add long-lasting freshness. 2 lozenges of Turmgel daily, after breakfast and before bedtime, will ensure good oral hygiene and fresh breath, and prevent recurring throat and dental infections.

Are there any specific contraindications for the use of Turmgel?

The active ingredient in Turmgel, Curcumin, is very effective and safe. More research is being undertaken to showcase all its potential medicinal uses. Patients suffering from diabetes, blood disorders, gastric-peptic disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and menstrual disorders, who are on prescription medicine must consult the treating physician before consuming Turmgel.

Does TURMGEL need any special storage instructions?

TURMGEL must be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, in a dry and secure place. In case the lozenges become soft due to high temperatures, the blister pack can be refrigerated for 15 to 30 minutes. Then, remove the pack from the refrigerator and continue to store at room temperature
